Just spotted this pic on FB and looks like the under bonnet area has like insulation like a modern car? 

 

Has anyone seen this as a ready made product? Or what material would you use? 

 

Dont mind that idea actually.

Hi Brad, 

carbuilders.com.au have an under-bonnet sound deadening material. I have used a lot of their sound deadener, acoustic deadener and other products. They have all been good. Make sure you buy a wooden roller applicator. If you don’t use theirs, Autobarn does one for about $20.  Or if you will never use it again, you can borrow mine next time you come down the hill.
