That green Monaro for 23k seems like a winner?

Its the colour, damn awful colour. They were $10k cheaper than all the other colours when I bought my V2. If its not rusty lot 6 is a good one.

Yes , it's funny what coulrs can do vs. model.
That green was the hero/ brochure colour for VY/ VZ Commodore SS. ( one was green and tge other purple , from mem ).
But on the coupe,not so desireable

I reckon that colour would be great on a hot rod, but not the late model Monaro. For me, Delft Blue was the best.

Ha ha. I was thinking the same thing. I found an Atlas one out in the sticks the other day. Rough, but complete. The owner wasn't home, but I will stop in there again sometime.

I think it was Purple Haze and it was on V2III which is roughly equivalent to VYII in Commodore/Calais from memory. I could have had a really low kM one of those cheap too when I bought my V2, it was Purple Haze with Purple trim. Looked like Grimace had thrown up all over it. The other two hero colours around at that time were Tiger and Hyper, both yuck. The best V2 colour was easily Devil but there were a few others that were nice. I wanted white but no such thing so ended up with Quicksilver. Tried to buy with red trim but none around when looking so ended up with black.
