Hi All

I’m making some AC mounts to mount my compressor ( 508)

near LH rocker cover

Just wondering is anyone couple give me a idea of bonnet clearance  between the rocker cover highest point and bonnet

my mount will be similar to the 2 pictures attached ( NMP) or in between , possible closer to the green painted torana

Thanks

I am running the same setup and had to ground off the unused mounting lug on the back of the compressor. As you adjust the belt the compressor raises and slightly rotates colckwise. It clears no issues but there isn't much there. I am also running HQ engine mounts which sit the engine a little lower but I think from memory also move the engine forward slightly. Hope this helps. These guys do a low side bracket setup specifically for Torana:

I have removed the unused lug to give better clearance with heater hose, I have HQ mounts as well as Tiorana mounts that have been cut down 13mm

I have looked at this, it won’t work for me, thanks for the suggestion, I’m happy with the way I’m going
