See if you can get an image of the various types off Parts Catalogues. From memory you need a V8 pedal as well, can’t recall exactly.

thanks I now see the pivot is different on v8 pedal to 6 to allow for more cable travel, another job

I have a v8 cable, can’t find pics as yet of the bracket on intake manifold

It depends on which LX engine, there are three types of both 4.2 and 5.0 litre excluding aircon examples (although those with air have the same brackets).

Which 5.0L though? HJ or HX style engine? Won’t be HZ style as it’s not a late one (A9X added).

Im using a Chinese copy of a 4bb Eledlebrock  dual place

and duel outlet thermostat housing

I now made V2 of my own, and can get correct travel with v8 cable

I went to a car show yesterday and shocked at how many are using 6 cyl cables, 6cylinder boosters

I have been looking at plates for years and it is rare to find an original L31 plated car these days. Nearly all are originally 4 or 6 cylinder cars.

I don’t think people bother with upgrading to the bigger booster much.
