im 19 and my dads 50, why is it ok for him to have 8 beers and im not allowed to even have 6 cokes, is there a rule i dont know about? im not a big fan of beer

Cause coke is no good for you!

Unless it's got lashings of bundy or wild turkey in it.. then it's ok.. but i dare you to drink 6 the way i make em!!

What are you doing drinking Coke if you are 19?

It should be Beer or Red Bull (if you the Designated Driver!)

my dad used to do the same when i was like 12 except it was like 4 cokes vs 20 beers :P

What are you doing drinking Coke if you are 19?

im 32 and i love drinking coke, although i do have to confess its better when jack comes over but mostly its straight coke, and im even brave enough to say its diet coz i reckon normal/zero coke are too sweet

when u say 6 cokes, is that over a day or in a night!

6 is pretty full on! do you get heart burn after that? i do after too many cokes!

i find coke give me hangovers, especially when i have it with jacks or WT!

When i was 19 I could out-drink my old man.... C'mon, put on the brave face and show him who's boss...

Throw some jim beam or jack daniels into your glass of coke and let the games begin...

I thought I was a cokaholic with a can for morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, when I got home and then probably another 2 before I went to bed.

Now, I only drink Pepsi Max because I am a border-line diabetic and even then it is no more than 2 per day.

Does a person have to drink alcohol to be a man?

What is the line between having a social drink and alcoholism?

44 years old and i dont really drink alcohol
an occasional beer or a drop of red
i must confess on average 3 to 4 litres of coke a day
must be why i dont sleep

It's not about being a man i dont think barry, For me it's about enjoyment. Luckily ive grown out of teh days where i used to drink to get drunk.. Now i just drink to get happy!

I think the line comes when you really cant function without a top up.. having a glass of wine, or a beer or maybe two a day i dont think is a problem unless you get hammered from it!!

I'm steering clear of coke lately.. just too much sugar in the stuff, i try and choose diet or coke zero.. or if at all possible water!!

yeah im not really a fan of coke except on really hot days after tapping the furnace at work (getting shit thats about 1300 odd degree's c of the top of my head). but recentlydid a first aid corse finished the second day at 5 to 11 at the pub buy 11 before they opened got about 4 beers in me grab abottle of bundy some ice and couple of cokes with a mate then polisehd the bottle of buy about 1 then went to the pub for abit more. then put it this way i was calling dinosaurs pretty heavly :). but now im hitting the home brew only have acouple kingies every couple of nights. and stoped drinking after night shift. o and im only 20

With the exception of Friday just passed, I'm with Tiny. We drink to get happy.

JDs or Turkey are the only poisons of choice, preferably with 'obese' Coke.

Pre mixes or cheap shit cola results in instant gut rot. But then I get heartburn from tomato sauce... :blink:

Im 32 and never had a drink in my life, i used to guzzle 4 litrs coke a day also but after braking the scales im now on about 1ltr of zero and somtimes just plain chilled water...I hate diet coke its just tooo sweet, with zero im so used to it now that normal coke tastes wrong.

We call it Unleaded and Super, Dave :P

I try to steer clear of "super" coke these days... Unleaded is almost as good :P
