The Bathurst light car club are having a speed weekend Nov 1-2.

I believe entries will open soon but I'm not yet sure how to enter.

They have a Facebook page but their website is under construction right now and I think entries are usually from their website but also could be via Motorsport Australia website.

It requires a speed licence and membership to a motorsport Australia club.

I did the hill climb last year and although its brief it is an awesome experience driving a Toran up mountain straight to McPhillamy Park.

Keep an eye on their Facebook page if you're interested.

Need to get some stuff done if I'm going to make it,

Woohoo,

Is it a hillclimb or a sprint? How much of the track is used?

Did this a couple of years back. Typically runs from the hump in Mountain Straight up to Mc Phillamy gate , then maybe the next day,
( reverse direction ) up from Forrest Elbow to the top.

It would be something I would watch if it was televised.

Yeah, for the full Bathurst experience Laurie, the Challenge Bathurst event in November is worth a go.
2 days x about 3 x 20m runs per day. Full track.

A little excy though.

I think the Saturday will be the sprint on Conrod straight and Sunday will be the hill climb up Mountain straight to McPhillamy park. 4-5 runs per car each day.

I'm guessing about $90 per day if similar to last year.

I couldn't find a price for the full track event later in November on the Challenge Bathurst site, but I saw one with one of the track day companies previously and I think it was $!650

I think the Challenge is about 2.5k?
