Gday.

In afew weeks i am going to start working on my Torrie again, i left it alone for a year at least due to financial problems but theres no time like the present to get her underway again.

I have stripped the car down pretty much completely, the interior is out except drivers seat, all dash is apart except steering column and wheel, all wiring is out, engine/box/driveshaft are out. Now there is certain rust i am aware of, but not wanting to rush the project and wanting it to be as good as new when done is prompting alot of work i wasnt aware would come up (as always). Now i have been told i should get the car sand blasted but i havnt rang around at all and a mate got a price for me of $2500. I dont want to spend this much if i can help it but unless i can find cheaper i will have to.

ATM i wish to remove the front end, coz the drivers pillar deffinately needs replacing and i assume with the front end off it will be much easier to replace plus i have a feeling theres rust under the skin somewhere so this would be the best way to find it. Also it seems it would be much easier to complete other mods such as the flutes and stuff. How do i go about removing the front end properly. I read about spot weld drilling, but donot completely understand what is meant.

Now other than that, does anyone know of a good Sandblaster in Sydney for a good price, and does anyone know of a body shop/ spray painters that specialise in older cars, or will at least do a top job on it. I would do the bodywork myself but i dont have cover in my yard so its virtually out of the question.

Sorry for the long post, but cheers for the help in advance.
