rare spares sells a XU-1 style battary tray that is small enough for a motor bike ,
I am setting my lj up to run triple webbers and i am not sure about clearance for the battary position because its not going in the boot

Off memory my webbers cleared the std XU1 battery and tray without any mods..they had air cleaners as well..

you can move the standard battery tray across and forward, we did on dads LC

When I got my lc the battery was on the driver's side,I ended up putting it in the boot.

I moved my battery forward, and to the side to clear the SU's, and I didn't need to move it again for the webers, so you should be fine with Std battery....

My XU1 uses Webers on a Warneford manifold, battery tray is a Rares aftermarket one turned 90 degrees. All fits properly.
