gday all just wondering how much would i be looking at for a lh lx slr 5000 all original with engine and flare kit ? (probably needs a resto job) how much would they fetch done up ? and if incase it is how much for the same for a l34

Mate the SL/R 5000 never came from the factory with a flare kit, its a dealer fitted option.
Expect to pay 20 - 35K for a restored one (guestimated price) I know of a schmick one going in Canberra for around the 35K mark.

An L34 is a different kettle of fish and a guess would be 50 - 70K ?? For a good one.

I am sure others will either confirm these price ranges or give you some idea of ones recently sold that they know of.

As for unrestored well I guess a whole lot depends on condition and rust content - which can be very high.

The vin number is a good place to start, thats the middle of the 3 tags. Get the vin number and then ask the forum guys for verification to the best of their ability.

Maybe REDA9x or someone here may give you a few details of how to pick the differences and I am sure heath may well have some good photo's showing some of the differences.

i know the general l34s diffence as well thanks to my copy of australian msucle car magazine but as well al know many of these beasts were choped and changed (like the lh square headlight to round conversion) its sorta hard to tell whats what without the tags info i havent seen this car myself and not sure if its been molestered or what thanks herne
