Hi all,
I have four 14x7 Hotwires waiting for tyres...I am just wondering what the widest tyre you can put onto one of these rims is? Also what is the widest width the will fit without rubbing on the front and rear with modifying the guards...if it helps i have an lx slr that has been modified in anyway (ie disc brakes on front, drums on back and the inside of the gaurds havent been touched)??
Cheers

it all depends on the offset of your rims, as to how wide you can go, also what profile tyre you run, i.e 60 or 50 these is a thread about this already just look down............

you have to measure the rim , from the inside of the studs to the outter rim edge, also you can get 50 profile in a BF goodrich tyre only prob is it's a really shocking tread pattern..... but a plus is that is has rised white lettering.
