hey ppl giving a couple things a paint and need some help
im using engine enamel and have discovered that the paint wont stick to alluminium and steel (engine block)... when i spray it on it just runs off and makes like circles. I have sanded the surface thoroughly but have not used any degreaser. Do i have to spray something first before paint? how do i make it stick
cheers

I found cleaning everything properly with prepsol or wax and grease remover and allow ing to dry for a few hours worked the best. but you have to make sure its dry before painting for best results.

If you want the best results, do exactly what WYLDLC did, lol. His block looks nuts! but sadly I don't have any great photos of it because the carbs are in the way.
