Hey guys I just took my radiator into the shop to get serviced and get a tiny hair line crack fixed, but it wont be ready until monday and my car has to go into the panelshop on monday to get a minor smash repair fixed. I have another running v8 torrie with the same radiator in good working order, is there any problem in putting that in there and reusing the coolant in that radiator for a little while? It'll be at the panel shop for a week with the other radiator in it. Just making sure I aint going to get any chemical reaction or side effects from using older coolant. and yes I'm in a rush to get this done before x-mas :)

Why not just use water? Save you stuffing around.

Agree with Jewy just fill it with water for the time being, for a week or so it's not going to affect a cast iron engine like a 308.

you coudl very quickly convert it to methanol...no need for rad then.

failing that, just use water.
