what a great idea... if I was in Sydney would only be too happy to help.
Might help if people know what you may be looking for as well, XU-1, SLR5000 etc

ok, umm im not sure what kind of car... preferably a LJ. But anything in good nic with enough room for the two of us (+ driver).
And im thinking pick up from Pennant Hills station, drive through the city, across the bridge etc and then dropped of at Manly, the corso would do. Its probably only a 30min trip or so, but ill pay for the time it takes for anyone to get there and home.
My boyfriend is a mad torana fan (i dont know too much about cars though), its his 18th so i wanna make it really special.

Hahaha, you guys are great help. But honestly, the only distractions the driver will get will be from him asking questions about the car!!

Hey, pennat hills is closer to Castle Hill then Hornsby, its kinda near Thornleigh, Becroft. Pennant hills would be great but anywhere near a train line would do (we are catching a train home from the city :D )
And im not quite sure how to look at that purple one, but id love to.
I've had a great offer from a very very kind person too, in an LJ (AWESOME!!!)
So thanks heaps guys, i never ever would have expected it to get organised this quick (hence starting it up three months in advance :D )
Hopefully all goes well with this guy and his LJ, otherwise ill be back in here asking for your help again, hehe.
Thank you everyone
