almost 9/10 times when i go into fist gear in my lx (186, 4spd m20) it doesnt engage properly it grids and im looking like a fool at each set of traffic lights lol. i suspect my clutch may need adjusting? how is this done?
My other problem is that second gear is making a funny noise when i release the clutch i was told it is my thrust bearing? how can this be fixed? easier to take it to the mechanics? i got around $250.00 to play with so gotta keep the costs down a little. but if the box is dead ill pay a bit more and be looking for a celica box to bolt on, cheers.
