Hello All,

I bought a set of fabricated aluminium rocker covers for my VT series 1 heads, I noticed when I got home that they only have the inner 4 screw holes on each cover. The standard covers have 4 screw holes in the middle and 1 on each end. I have also looked at a few available on ebay and they also have only 4 screw holes per lid.

Has anyone else used the fabricated aluminium style rocker covers? Are there any oil leakage problems due to the lack of the 2 screw holes on each end?

Any help would be apreciated.

ive used a set on my 253 and they have not leaked at all. They are allot stronger and dont flex so there is no need for the six bolts. I did silicon my gaskets to the cover as extra insurance though

cheers julian
