OK guys and girls its that time of year again.

We are holding our annual maroondah dam run.

This will also be a celebration of the clubs 21st birthday of the Torana Street Machine Club of Victoria/Victorian Torana Club.
We are inviting everyone along, both old and new members or anyone with an interest in Toranas in general or the club as well.

5th October 2008
Annual Maroondah dam run
Meet: Repco Baywater Canterbury Rd, Bayswater
Time: 9am for hour long display with managers prize given out before we leave.
10am leave for cruise in convoy to Maroondah Dam where BBQ lunch will be available for small fee.
All toranas welcome in any condition the more the merrier!

I have added a poll to this so we can try and get some sort of attendance to organise catering for the day.

Quick question, A good mate of mine has an XY he just got registered yesterday, and he is mega keen to get out and cruise it. Would the VTC mind he he tagged along for the cruise?

im pretty sure every one would be fine with it ive been on vic torana cruises in the old mans le monaro before the xy is nice even if it is a ford

mrlxss absolutely you mates welcome as far as im concerned the more the merrier!! as for all the torana owners and club members remember you dont have to bring your torana along if its in the shed getting built come along and keep yourself inspired by seeing all the other torries we are expecting cars in all condition from your daily driver to your show car spec to a couple of group c race cars.
i hope to see everyone thats not only interested in torries but ausmuscle cars to come along and enjoy the clubs 21st birthday celebrations, after all its not everyday a car club can boast about having being around for that amount of time.

gmhman it doesnt matter what sort of car you come in.
We all know what its like to need inspiration...thats why I go to all the events and have to get a lift!
The more cars that come out to events like these, the stronger the event gets in future years.
So gmhman we can plan on seeing your car soon at next years event (or sooner).
We are hoping for a really sgood turnout for this event.

So make sure you get there in whatever car you have available!

LX2DR, Heath is spot on. Top car park is the one we will be parking at.
It will be great to have you along.

Hmmm, looking at the weather I'd say we might just be a chance to follow out there in the VX Berlina (sorry boys, no Torry), but I reckon it would be great to see some old familiar faces again!

I'll see how enthused I can get the family!

I hope to still make it, thou i just had my wisdom teeth out n i cant drive on the pain killer! Hopefully the gf will drive if not ill skip the pain killers! So if u think my head is twice the size IT IS!!!!
