Forecast was good for today as well, wasn't it? lmao

I might just come down to the meeting point and say Hi to a few, then go home and try and do some homework before I go back to school.

yep the weathers looking to be fantastic, the club put on a bit of a display at repco nunawading today and had a bit of a sausage sizzle going and it turned out great so we hope tomorrow is even better so remember you dont have to drive your torry to the event just come along and enjoy the celebrations for the clubs 21st obviously the more toranas the better but for all those people out there building something in the shed outback and the passion might be waning a bit come along and check out the cars and get some ideas and try and get the passion back for your build.
hoping to see you all tomorrow cheers tony

What a bloody great day. Awesome turnout at Repco and also at the dam. It was great to meet a few of you guys and see some amazing cars. Well done to the organisers for a great day. Now all I have to do is get my hatch down from Tamworth, rebuild it and join the club. Cheers Paul

What an AWESOME day!!! Absolutely PERFECT weather! I don't think it could have been any better weather for a cruise!

The turnout was amazing! I think i heard that there were over 50 cars at Maroondah dam, then there would have been a few that just went to repco for the show and shine. So all up there would have been close to 60 participate in the day!

I am uploading a heap of pictures i took now! I'll put up some favourites and a link to them soon!

Well what can I say...what a fantastic day!
Perfect weather made it even better.

Overall we had in excess of 50 toranas show up at either at Repco Bayswater and the Maroondah Dam. We did lose a few who didnt continue from Repco, but what we lost in the cruise we gained in the end by more toranas showing up to the Dam. We also had numerous other cars show up too, from Commodores, Nissan GTR's and Chevs, etc.

Thanks for putting up the great pics LX2DR and MRLXSS.

To everyone that made the effort to come to this event a very big thank-you from the committee of the Victorian Torana Club. You all made the day worthwhile. It really makes the effort feel appreciated.
By supporting these events in any way (even if you dont have your Torana on the road) only makes them get stronger for future years.

Again a big thanks. Feel free to post your comments.

Regards Darren

That was a great day!! Great weather huge turn out!
I heard someone say one of the cars had been in storage for 15years n brang it out just for the 21stb'day! From the original street machine torana club!
Well i really enjoyed the day! The car went well!
I only have one down side to it! The cruise length and way we went was bit of a let down 2 years ago the last one i went on we went up over mt dandenong etc! I know a couple of the others on this one did take alil of there own way to make it a bit longer!!
Thanks to ppl who took photos of my car and all the others (we forgot the camera)
Thanks ALL For a GREAT DAY!
Cheers
Ed.

Was great to catch up with heaps of people at Repco, awesome show of Torries! Sorry I couldn't make the cruise itself, really annoyed too cos the weather was so perfect!

What's the story with the race cars, are they driven on the road, or trailered? They look PHAT AS!

Well done to the comittee, a well organised run! Great turn out by all, as the original organiser of this run in years gone it is good to see that the run is growing in support and becoming stronger. For those who preferred the cruize in years done over the Dandenongs I will pass on the route to the comittee for next year. For those who missed out.......well there's always next year!

Brett both race cars came in an enclosed truck.
Pity you didnt come on the cruise too, would have been good to have your hatch along for the trip.
Sorry I didnt get much of a chance to chat with you at Repco.

Stedz its good to get some feed back like that, we can always have a cruise through the hills on our way to the event.
Sounds like a great idea.
Glad to see you got there and drove, hope you werent too sore without the medication!

Cheers Darren.
