Cars were sold LHD in Europe & RHD in the UK (firstly as Vauxhall Royale Coupe, then as Opel Monza). I would guess the European market would have been bigger than the UK, but haven't seen a breakdown of figures. I have been told that there were more manuals produced, but seems that more autos have survived.

wow, i have a 84 or 85 gse simmilar colour to your brock. my interior is a little darker i think. the engine bay has what seems to be a larger brake booster but no A/C.
im sort of im the process of sourcing a commodore K-frame to drop a 308 in. I have removed the 3.0L six & gearbox. does the brock have a tilt steering colum?

Brake booster/master cylinder are V8 VH/VK Commodore. Steering column is VK Commodore, so no tilt mechanism.

Colour is called Anthracite, and I would expect you have velour trim. Are they Recaro seats?

not 100% sure, il try to post some pics. does yours have a getrag or T5? im kinda hoping to either change the bellhousing of the original (6 cylinder) getrag
or try to get a getrag from a late 90s commodore 304

Gearbox is a T5G. Back then, Brock was actually the Australian Borg-Warner agent. The T5G was the only 5-speed Brock fitted to HDT V8s.

Bit off topic but a local guy where i live owns Brocks Red VH SS.

He bought it off Peter in about 84-85 from memory and has a personel letter from him congratulating him for buying it etc.

He also got him to sign a few things in the car when he picked it up bloody thing would have to be worth a small fortune now i would think.
