Partly cloudy. The chance of showers along the coastal fringe early in the morning. Winds southwesterly 15 to 25 km/h becoming light in the middle of the day.
See you there Andy!
Be good to catch up

I just got home. Had an absolute blast. Got 3 runs in, which was enough as it started to warm up by the third run and the car slowed down. Managed to run two 11.9's back to back and then a 12.00 after sitting in the stage lane idling away for 10 minutes while they towed a car away. She got a bit hot and fueled up a bit. But in saying that, I drove it up form Canberra, raced it and drove it home. Only used 3/4 of a tank of fuel from Sydney to Canberra and purred like a kitten.
Only got to meet up with Tiny. Didn't see any other members I knew unfortunately. Possibly Mitch in a red SS but didn't see him at a time where I could say hello. I was in the green LX just behind...
Can't wait till next time.....happiest man in Oz at the moment! Achieved what I set out to do and that was beat my old hatch time by more than a second!

Stoked is the work Garth. Not after chasing more. Just wanted a nice clean streeter that goes well. The 11's was a bonus. Taken my 28 years of owning Torry's to get what i wanted LOL....Got some video footage so will download it during the week. Interested to hear what others achieved, Hard to know when you are a competitor and you don't get to see others run....

Thanks Rob for booking the lane! Even though you ended up in lane 2 lol. Bloody packed today. Sold out event, which made it very long between races but enjoyable all the same.
I had a shocker but stoked to get out racing again. Best of 13.1 @ 106mph for me. Consistent 1.8 60ft which is nice though.
Car was flashing for 250,000km service on the last run! Haha. Stock motor still goes alright!
The school race car has finally got some runs under its belt! A couple of strong 13.0 @ 106mph is very exciting to see and an awesome starting point to move forward from. Such an awesome feeling seeing the hardwork of my old man and the students finally coming together. You couldn't wipe the smile of Dads face. Its been 10 months since we debuted the car and found the busted gearbox so awesome to see it have some runs.
Unfortunately their day was cut short after it managed to bust an axle on the starting line. But thats racing! Set of billets and hopefully some frequent racing occuring very soon! Nitrous is still yet to be hooked up so heaps of fun to be had!

Yes I got caught up in the stagging lane too on my last run and it definitely affected that run. Yes it was a 220 cut off this time. The wait was way too long between runs. I had enough waiting after my 3 runs. Had planned on 5 or 6 but wasn't prepapred to wait anymore. Plus had a long drive home. Was a perfect day weather wise though!
