Hey guys!! I've been playing around of late, and thought to myself about swapping the UC tail lights for something of relatively the same size and shape, but different design... So here's my piece of Torana history... Copyright 2006

and a closer look...

If its feasable and what not, i might disclose what kind of car they came off...

they look quite a lot better over th standard ones.

Maybe when put on to be recessed in to the rear panel?

ive been playing with the idea of skyline tails or the rx7 stlye round ones.

On the old forum there was a member with a hatch way out west in nsw who had posted pic photochopped with skyline tails.

There would be alot of work doing these skyline lights.. definately not something you would want to attack when you have a mint paint job like keith's

it makes the back of the car look a bit sigma-ish too makka I think.

Do they bolt on keith?

I've got the lights at home, have not attempted to bolt them on yet, but one could imagine that with little or no effort, they should almost be a straight swap. They are pretty much the same size in length, height and depth... I will let you know how i go.

And no, they are not from any of the above mentioned vehicles.... Keep guessing...

Cheers

my cousin was sayin somethin about what he wanted to do to his UC...

Somehow un-orange the taillights, so theyre clear, and put orange globes in them... Just an idea... could someone do a photochop?

I'm thinkin that it might look a bit ricy... but could work alright.

they look very similar to the 635 lights, but I dont think they are them. The 635 indicators curve around onto the side of the body, the ones on keith's car dont seem to do that.

I looked at making the tail lights clear, but its not easily done you would have to refabricate the lenses.

Ive talked to nathan and sarsha, they both dont like the look, and ive got no problems with that, just opinions at the moment.

The lights are Toyota MA61 Supra!!

Some will like, some wont!! Just an idea i wanted to put forward...

For those who want the older Holden muscle look, i've added EH custom taillights (instead of brakes and indicator in a 1 light combo, i've separated them - almost like the skyline lights)...

Give the uc lights a tint and paint around the sides :P

Ha Ha, i thought about it long and hard, and i like them - almost looks like a VB-VH commodore with the supra lights there, but it's a different light layout! I like it!!

Ahhhh the old Supra lights. Now I look at them and ask myself "why the hell didn't you know that?"

Awesome car, awesome lights. Not bad on the Torrie, but it's hard to say without actually installing them and taking lights of different angles. It also has to be seemlessly done. No point in putting nice tails on if it's a hack-job.

the eh ones look good, but why not just graft on some LX tail lights. just my opinion

from the angle you've taken the supra lights of, I like the UC ones better. I dont actually mind the UC lights, if they are swapped around (indicator on the outside it really doesn't bother me the least.
