The supra was parked right next to my car when i took that photo... I swap-chopped them, then mirrored my car as a standard versus supra comparison... They look real nice, under the lights there is a black strip (obviously you can paint it any colour you want), and same with above... I think ill investigate more when i fly home from work i think... Shouldnt be too hard to do - they are virtually the same size when installed...

Cheers
Keith

P.S. if i do convert them i will do a write-up with plenty of piccys...

I thought the car on the left had a lisp as the number plate seemed to be saying sorry....

I personally aren't a huge fan of the UC but yours looks good the way it is Keith, make sure whatever changes you make are reversible if you change your mind.

They will sit as far out as the UC lights, but blend back into the body. They semi-curve around. If installed how the UC ones have been, then it would just mean the side of the indicator would light up... It will look almost factory.

but from the looks of this picture
http://www.abbeysoun...col/supra/2.jpg
they curve a fair bit so wouldn't they either stick out of the car or require some modifacation to look like they belong, or not?

Shouldnt be too hard to adapt in my opinion. They only curve around about an inch and a half, the UC tail lights stick out about an inch... Not much difference...

To make the lights sit in the panel work, it may require some cutting, but to have them sit out like the UC lights would require no cutting.

hey dave was your UC the one that got stolen, the peach colour one? Sorry about your hatch if that was yours. When you said you frenched the lights, it looks as if you just painted the edges?

Could somebody post a photo of ozstreetcar_dave's tail-lights?

Was this done before or after it was stolen? I've only seen the car burnt out...

The car wasn't mine when it got stolen, it was some mates of mine (2 brothers) who owned it. They have the WB in this months Extreme magazine. I believe the lights were done waaaay back when the car was still in Tassy. They have welded some strips in that move the light back further into the chassis. I won't have the painted trimming on the lights so hopefully they will disappear some more.

The car actually wasn't burnt, it was covered in body deadner. It will be going to the strippers in a couple of weeks to get rid of all the shite.
