Does anyone have dimensions for the lj brake / clutch pedal bushes. I believe that the bushes are different for the two pedals.

LC/LJ 6cyl clutch pedal bushes are different to the bushes used on the brake pedal shaft.

I beg to differ Dave.
They run on a common shaft.
I could be wrong because I modified my setup.
But I doubt it. :-)

I appreciate all the input but some say the bushes are the same whilst others say they are different ???? My original enquiry was for dimensions so that I can buy brass or phosphor bronze bushes.

Hi Ray

I posted this link because I thought it would answer most of your question. http://www.gmh-toran...pedal-bearings/

Kockum's info in that thread is 100% correct, the the clutch pedal bearings are a different part to the brake pedal shaft bushes.

Best way is to take your clutch and brake pedals to your local bearing shop and they will measure them up and supply what you need.

Cheers

Dave.

Thanks Marty.

They came through yesterday but I'll need to have the 3D printer recalibrated.

As you can see they came out a little blurred. Nice and cold though and taste fantastic. :D

Guy's
It would be helpful to know what the replacement bush for the clutch pedal is so I can order some, the closest place to me is in the ACT, a two and a half hour drive away.

There is no direct replacement/repro for the original type clutch pedal bearings that I know of.

Thanks Mike,
Those Jegg"s Bushes look the same as Rares, brake pedal shaft bushes.
It's the clutch bushes I would like to be able to order and get hold of.

The easiest way to see if they are different size between clutch/brake would be just measure the bolt/s/pin or whatever they use and the holes in pedal boss and compare,on the LH/X they are a very thin material...strong as buggery despite the thin wall with the right lubrication...dry lube molybdenite is a pretty good product?

Thanks Mike,
I found the Rares listing and know the part numbers so that I can order some from them to try, but will wait to see if the post above shows if they fit.
