12mm overall and 6mm in the cut out where it pivots.

How did the test sample go, was the ford bearing an appropriate replacement to use on the lc/j pedal box?

Went looking along the 4 banger line & got a hit on a UK website for Vauxhall Viva HB/C
brake pedal bush #6368033.
This is them...

Looks like the left ones in the 2nd of Mike's bush pics in post #17.
Fits the pivot shaft snug & all but 1 measurement are the same. The shoulder between the underside
of the flange to the "barbed" inner end is 8.8mm rather than 6mm due to a shallower barb.
The flange thickness & depth is the same so once assembled I don't see it being a problem, altho I havn't
fitted these to the clutch pedal as I got these as spares coz mine aren't flogged out yet.
Found them at vauxhallgreenparts.co.uk but I remember them telling me in 1 of the emails that these were
the last 2 or there was 2 left?...Thought they would've ordered more as they look more of a replacement bush
than a NOS bush.
Happy to drop into my local Rares with veniers & bush in hand if someone's got the part # for the bush in Mike's pic.

Your new HB/HC Viva bearing Pt #6368033 looks more like the length of an original HB, LC,LJ,TA Torana bearing Pt #6368033 rather than the shorter Ford bearing Mike posted a pic of.

OK. Not by much tho....
the above bush on left still in my pedal = 11.7mm, new bush is 11.88mm
