Are you running a scoop or does this new manifold combo fit under the bonnet

If similar to the TQ D/P they dont quite fit under the bonnet.  I am running a 9x3 filter and it protrudes

about an inch out the bonnet.  A smaller filter may get it all under but will restrict air flow into the carby.

running a scoop if u like i can measure height for u if ur wanting to run one

That would be great if you could measure the pad height, COME reckon there will fit under bonnet with dropped air cleaner, the last one I put on a car had a scoop

Bummer, cheers for the heads up, do you know the height of your manifold?

Think total it was 150mm.  It is advertised on their website from memory.  A dropbase aircleaner should fit just...I didn't use one because I had a throtle bracket and a dropbase set up won't clear the bracket.

I was only getting about 100k's to a tank in my 500+hp 355 LOL.  I have taken it back to about 450 hp so should get 200k's a tank now LOL

A tank for 100kms sounds perfectly reasonable :)

What are the litres per 100km for you guys?

My 383 Chev (around 440HP) uses around 25 litres per 100km on the road. It's interesting hearing about the hotties, some of the figures are staggering!

Mine copped a lot of stop/start driving although reckon will nudge 300'ish maybe higher the more the car gets sorted cool weather/night drives dont make me look for holes in fuel tank anymore...going from diff dumpers to tailpipe improved torque...no more earplugs although 305/50/15 feel useless.

Cold air tray, hec coil & bigger alternator on wishlist of improvements.

In general suburban driving the ute uses 50 L per 100km or thereabouts. Thank god its LPG and not premium. It's a BBC with 4000 converter and 3.25 rear gears. 275/40/17 tyre.

I used to drive my first SLR5000 as a daily with a stage 3 sort of set up 308 and was getting about 300-330k's a tank back then. That was with a 3.08 diff ratio. Would hate to be driving them as a daily nowadays :-)

If I drive mine economically I can get 11 litres per hundred, put the foot down about 40 litres plus. Overdrives are your friend!
