First time poster, long time reader. I am seeking some specific info on the supra conversion into an LX hatch. I have searched the forums/posts and this one specifically has the most info

I have the opportunity to buy a fresh 308 turbo pattern (VT prefix) with supra gearbox and tailshaft yoke all assembled at fair money. This gives me opportunity to upgrade from the existing tired 253 with m20. I just need some guidance from those who have done it if possible. The hatch is original and i dont want to be cutting tunnels, essentially everything I do needs to be able to be undone.This post talks about
- 3 different gearshifter positions for the supra box, i cant find any more info on this. Does anyone know how to identify this or have measurements?
- what work if any has to be done with regards to the gearbox cross mount to get he supra box secured, any modification required or specialised brackets?
- there was mentions of HQ engine mounts which moves the motor slightly? to asssit with install, is this forward or backwards?
- has anyone run the supra setup on the original clutch cable, i realise i will have to make or mod a new bracket but just curious to know whether i need to shft to hydraulic master cylinder
Is there any traps i should be aware of or recommendations for things to keep in mind
