Bumper off, wire brush out. Go son.

Or are you back at school now?

Back at school now. Only 3 days of actual school left, then a week of exams.

Convo Pro's won't suit this rig... But I really like em.

Yeah, the other shell is screwed in the same corner. I have an LC boot cut that might work. Will LJ taillights fit into LC taillight gaps? Or are they bigger/smaller. If not, I have another LJ 2 door shell that I can get parts off of.

Apparently, the original owner of my LJ was a panel beater. Looks like he got a fair bit of practice in on his own car.

You'd think, though, being a panel beater, he might've actually repaired the dents instead of just boggin' em up...

The front right guard has been replaced before as well, but was done properly. well, almost properly. It was brazed on.

I dunno, and don't really care. I have to fix it anyway.

The Prostars Don't Fit. Heath, you were right. Haha.

So I'm on the lookout for a set of 15" Volvo's, as seen on Bomber's car.

And also, I got the rear console out of my cousin's UC, and it fits alright...

Nothin wrong with a cardboard console and fake checker plate seat covers...

They do the job good!

What do you guys think of the UC rear console? It's a pretty tight fit, and just an idea. Yay/Nay?

and Rob, its RIM dammit! Or Tim. :tease;

Oh, and I'm getting my [RIM-010] Plates tomorrow :D

Got some body work done on the LJ Today :D

Started work on the rear quarter. We're using a peice out of the boot cut that came with my shell.

Also, we're thinking of getting the bumpers and lights surrounds etc Powdercoated White... That's if we get a set of Volvo 15's, which will be Powdercoated White aswell...

That would be a nice combination that's definately unique. Very unique. I like it. Would look tidy with the colour as well, time for you to open up photoshop I think.

Some serious panel work there! The UC console looks fine especially since the colour is near a perfect match with the dash, is there enough room between the seats and the console to move the seats?

DA, the UC console is a pretty tight fit, but it wouldnt be hard to modify it a bit to make it a bit narrower...

hey rodomo, catch! :finger: :tease:

More Body Work!

It was an LC quarter, so we had to fill the little side indicator gap. We used a peice cut out of the old quarter.

No fish oil used yet...

Everyone has chrome... I wanna be DIFFERENT! Otherwise I would paint it red, chrome everything, chuck a triple carbed 202 and Sprinters on it!

We've decided that the Powdercoating is out, though... Makes it look like a Barbie Car.

Nope, thats my Dad. Panel beater friend turns out to be more friend than Panel beater... Had a look at a mates XW Ute, which he (panel beater) repaired in 2004. The sills are rusting through already.

So yeah, Dad and I are doing it all ourselves...
