The code was also put in place to stop the crook engineers who are prepared to sign anything off for the right money. I have seen it personally and look at some of the so called cars that somehow get engineered with twin turbo LS' in them. They had to do something to reign things in.
he whole point of having engineering signatories is so someone who actually knows what they're talking about can say what needs to be done in order to do what you want to do.
WA seems to have some little bureaucrat somewhere who has decided to make some blanket rules based on the lowest common denominator, like everything bloody governments do these days!
