Cannot find any stamped numbers on chassis.
Did all LC SLR have any other I.d. other than the 2 tags on the rhs of the support panel?
Im having real issues trying to Authenticate this car.
Cheers

Sounds like you might have a 1969 LC GTR. They only had the VIN Tag and the Body ID Plate on the radiator support panel.
The chassis number should be stamped into the left hand inner wheelhouse panel in the area near the two crossmember to chassis rail mounting bolts.
If there is no chassis number may indicate the left front guard and wheelhouse panel were replaced due to accident damage or someone has deliberately obliterated the number for whatever reason.

When you say left hand side this means passenger side?
And yes, it’s supposedly a gen 69 LC GTR. I have photos of the 2 tags

Can you read the VIN number on the small tag? H6 is the GMH Pagewood VAP however the remainder of the number in your pic is hard to read.
Your chassis number should be in this area as shown in the pic below..

Thankyou so much for the photo. This shows exactly where to look on the car.
The small plate number is 82911CH623740

The plot thickens...
what was the original colour and trim?
if this is a seventies car shouldn’t it have another plate on the firewall?
I though the law changed in 1970 and the ADR was on an additional plate?
