yeah i've got HQ stubs on my front end to suite the hoppers stoppers kit, but i'm using the HR steering arms as i was told if it used different steering arms then the geometry would be wrong when turning etc ....Yes they are HQ stubs, you can use either depending on what discs you want to run. using the HQ ones you do lose a bit of steering but it drops the car an extra 20mm by using the HQ items.
reason i ask is i'd love to try other arms if i can get the tie rod closer to the centre of the stub as at the moment the tie rod end hits on the rim.

Enginge mock up
rear section before
After repairs
New home for fuel tank (Dunnydoor tank). Tank bolts in from underneath and sits a lot lower then above photo. The above phota has the tank sitting in the spare wheel well which no longer exsists. Third photo below provides a nice place for me to put a dry cell battery.
Side cowl repairs
Teaser of the colour I have chosen.
Cheers

those pipes are they custom made or what ?
i like the idea of the commodore tank, i was just looking in the boot of my partners EH Sedan today as she has been cleaning the whole car out to start work on it, and its pretty rusted so i was thinking what the options would be, a nice 65L commodore tank might be just the ticket!

Just got my front end back from the powder coaters, photo quality is poor as fluoro lights arnt the best for taking pics at night. I will take some better ones on the weekend in natural light. Anyway here are the photos I have at the moment.
Sorry the photos are crap and dont do it any justice. Better photos in a couple of days, I promise

looks absolutely tops mate. just wondering how much the powdercoat cost you cos i'm pretty sure I'm going to the same way, will bring up the engine bay really well I reckon.
I think you picked the perfect motor to slide in...
good luck mate.
