As to the other options, Ive had my licence for 32 years but I freely admit that, that doesnt make me a racing car driver.
I'm interested in having a bit of fun, but having no idea of my or the cars ability I would at least be more interested in having 1 or 2 reasonably cheap casual, shared days to find out if I was any good & get some experience before going down the path of licensing & fire suits.
I'm pretty sure the scrutineering will be at another level too, which will mean greater preparation cost's to ensure it was safe to have a play.
My suggestion is to try the shared day idea for at least the first time so that there arent as many virgins on the track doing dumb things once/if we do a GMH-T only day.
This could also allow the ones with some experience to give tips and assistance in between drives to the 1st timers.
Anyhow those are my thoughts.
