Last time I went to winton was a car and bike day. Lots of Jap crap with blokes that had know idea how to drive. Scrutineering consisted of " Is your bike /car in good nick" and as for ambulance the bloke that got you set on the dummy grid was the same bloke that drove the ambo and recovery vehicle, it was a joke. IMHO considering the place holds rounds of the touring cars and Australian Super bikes to name a few it would be nice of them to throw some money back into the track and it facilities itself.

I went on My GSXR 1000, still had a ball though.

Having said all that I would still probably come( not sure if the 308 will be in by then) to watch/meet the forum members.

I had a look after I posted the other day but it was too long after to edit.
Nice work!

Makka and I were at Sandown today watching another forum members replica LC lead the pack.
My next Sandown day "might" be Sun. 13th July, the day after Winton, budget allowing. MICKLX is going too as far as I know?

What are "SR" plates?

A bit off topic, but to answer Rodomo's question,
My Car Club (GCC) had 2 sprints (at Sandown) scheduled as part of our club championship this year. The first one (May 25) has been removed due to the 75 dB noise limit making it hard for some cars to attend. I can only assume the 2nd one on July 13 will also be removed from our club championship.
I will however be at Phillip Island next Sunday (June 1) and I see no reason why the Thunderbolt Grease Slapper can't be there also.

Nope, a yellow ex QLD car with a black bonnet and a V8.

And there was a Porche running around today that was way over 75db.

So this means your in for Winton?

Thanks for updating the list Rodomo.

So next question do people want to meet and cruise up early (5am) Saturday morning? Or just make you own way up Friday nite, or cruise up Friday nite?

I am not sure what i will be doing yet. I'm definately going, but not sure if i will be heading up friday nite or saturday morning.

Steve

Stedz, it takes a speciel kind of talent to drive fast and brake and steer.
Some just aren't cut out for it.
