I am rostered on this Sat. and haven't found anyone to cover my shift yet. :furious:

Maybe someone can call RACV on Saturday and request you come help them out at Winton?

A smart bloke would give the roadside service the flick and become a towie.

At this stage it looks like I'm working tomorrow.

Bummer Rob, well there is always the one just before Christmas.

I'm still unsure if i will go. I agree it is a long way, and i will probably enjoy myself if i go, but i still have a few things to do on the car before i go... and an oil change is one of them, as well as the rear drivers guard. :fool:

I'm kicking myself on this one. 1st weekend of my 2 week shift I only get the Sunday off. 2nd week I get Thurs, Fri, Sat and Sun off. I stuffed up the week count when this thread was started and only realised midway through last week that I had got it wrong.

Maybe the Dec. one will be on my 4 door off w/end?

Yea few others, mate got his orange turbo'd six (from drag day) Got axles fixed n was up there n his car went great!
THere was a purple lx hatch that u may remember it form up there as bein matt black!!
I had a great day flogged most cars in a straight live but that was about it, but i think i now have an engine problem... maybe a big problem :( wait n c
No photos sorry! Very good day other then it may turn out to be expensive!

Yeah wasn't a bad day down at Sandown,alot closer than Winton that's for sure! Saw your car i think to MickLX.Group 6 that went out?

No, I was with the ECW,wreckers VT. I think on the last run you were first off the dummy grid??

My car was the plain white Commodore that the VT had a habit of lining up behind on the dummy grid.
Then he would procede to blow my doors off within 1/2 a lap :blink:

Ahh,think he over took you on the main straight or back straight, I pretty sure I remember seeing your beast. That was my mates first run in teh VT it was a test run in day to sort out the bugs!

Nah, not for sprints,Sunday was a test drive day after building it up, run it,work out problems and see if anything breaks.He is going to use it for circuit racing,will be back there for round 3 of the Victorian State Circuit Racing Championship 26/27th of this month.

whats the go with the hsccv. can anyone rock up on the day and have some fun?

It's what they call club racing.
You need to join a cams affilliated club, $80+ per year.
Get a S2 cams licence, $95 per year.
Each track day is about $140 - $160

Have a look at this link, click on the individual club logo's to go to their sites. Look in club calenders for track days.

Neither of us are.
You just have to be a member of an affiliated club and enter.
I am a member of the Maserati club but can attend Mini club days if that makes sense?
