Gday all. I have a set of 14x7 ROH Rebels that I am going to put on my LJ. At the moment, it is fitted with stock 13's, with 175/75R13 tyres. How high a sidewall do I need on the 14's to keep the same rolling diameter?

Cheers, RIM

195/60R14 would be the closest.

This can be a controversial subject, there is no such thing as a rolling radius. I assume your trying to maintain speedo accuracy. A tyre with a circumference of 2000mm will roll 2000mm for every revolution regardless of profile or tyre pressure, so just wrap a tape measure round your tyre and get a 14" with whatever profile gives you the same total circumference, easily done without fitting one.

I spent 21 years in the tyre industry. I get asked these question all too often and can answer them accurately in seconds.

I wouldn't doubt your accuracy there Chopper. I'm at work getting distacted from important forum reading and your post wasn't up when I started writing.
