Was radio standard? If it was an option there's a chance it was a dealer fitment which could mean where ever the mechanic started drilling :<_<:

My understanding is the AM Radio was an option in LC/Js, and the ariel was mounted in the passenger guard.

The roof mounted ariels were not a genuine thing, but i admit they seem to be common.

Yes i did drill a hole in my guard for my electric ariel ;) :tease:

Hi

I have a scan of the GMH aerials pamphlet for the LJ period. There are 5 aerials (inc 2 motorised) all cowl mounted. No mention of the swept back roof type.
