Interested in simmons v5's. Wondering if anyone knows if they still make them, or any place that stock simmons rims you recommend, and prices etc.
I was prob after 2 15*12's, and 2 15*8's.
Do they make them in torana pattern, or would you have to go hq?
Thank
Tim

as far as i know.

the v5 range has been over for some time. I too like the wheels, but unless you find a perfect set (right size, pattern, offsets ect) your probably better off looking for a range of wheel thats still in stock

thanks.

You prob could widen them.
Call Simmons, they dont make them anymore, but have given the license to, to someone else. I contacted them about 18 months ago and they freely gave out the info ... just change the dish/offset to the size you want. Not certain how much it would cost, otherwise you could wait for ages for correct ones to turn up.

Below is the info copied from their website ( http://www.simmonswh....au/range.html# ). Another way would be to get some volvo rims in V5 pattern and have them widen by Retro Wheels to what you want - but would pay to ring them first. Also weird is that in the list of wheels they say were formerly manufactured by Simmons, they don't mention V5.

15" Wheels:
Simmons no longer manufacture 15" wheels. For 15" wheel styles formerly manufactured by Simmons - B45-15", OM15-15" and F15-15", please contact: "Retro Wheels"

I say go the 10" wheels on the back and run a 275 to 295 tyre. Unless your harnessing over 600 horsepower, you dont need any bigger tyres!!

Cheers

Nah. I'm pretty keen on the 345/35/15's. More for looks than traction.
They make the car look soo much tougher! Thanks anyway
