Does any one know how to check if a torana is original right out of the shop when it was made, say LX Torana SL/R 5000 L34, 1977, just by using to VIN numbers?

Cheers Troy.

You need all of the tag numbers and the chassis number as stamped in the sheet metal on the rail behind the drivers headlight. Also the engine number is useful.

For an L34 it has to be between July and September 1974.
