It has a 350 chev, dynoed at 235 rwhp, top loader, 9 inch with 3.55 gears, 265/50/14's on the rear.

I reckon it'll definately be sub 14s once you're settled in having done a few runs.

13.7?

If it looks as good as it goes... 10s? :spoton:

hey guys.
finally got out to calder tonight
My best time ended up being 14.217 at 100.75 mph
Pretty rapped with the night!
Had a few traction issues, first run 14.5 so improved gradually
Have well and truly been bitten by the drag racing bug, can't wait until next time!
Cheers

Good start for a first time out.
Wack some decent tyres on there, I ran secondhand Yoky A008R's that were in a shed for over 4 years.
Your hp figures are nearly the same as mine, I have an extra 2hp.
I know that my car with its old motor that had much less hp ran a 12.9 with a 3.55: Locker diff and second hand slicks.

Its now running 13.28 in full street trim including big stezza and the aforementioned Yoky tyres and a 2.72:1 Ratio 9-inch LSD.

So I say wack some tyres on her and she should drop way down into the low 13's.

g'day guys,
Well I decided to head back to calder the other week too see how much I could improve my times

Any way, my best was a 13.791 at 101.3mph. I was rapped!
Got a 13.85 and 13.91 also, so had 3 passes under 14 seconds!

The only downer on the night was that i burnt out my clutch. It was fine on the runs, but as i headed home, it was slipping really bad, and i had to limp it home.
I havent had a good chance to look at it, but am doing some research on what sort of clutch to replace it with.

Cant wait to get back out there, next time hope to have my new clutch, new radiator, au twin thermo's, change to hq pattern to fit my 15*10 hotwires with 285/40/15's. So hopefully i can drop down to the low 13's on my next pass!!
Cheers
Timbo
