Looks hot!! sounds like a few bucks going into it, but thats the nature of the beast. The lawn looks just like the one in my front yard. I've got a "green thumb" but its definately not from working in the garden, it's from getting it in the way of the spray gun, while painting the car.

Hey All!
Its been awhile since ive updated! But a couple of weeks back the stally finally went in! I had Tce build me one! After much talk n fillin out bits of paper it was decided to go for a 3000rpm stall! best money ive spent so far!. I also got round to runnin all new fuels lines stepped it up a size! N finally got rid of that stupid electric fuel pump harmonics!! Im also steppin the rear tyres up to 235 on the back (if they fit) Since the stall has gone in ive had traction problems (love it!!) Anyway thought id update! Gettin excited bout the drag day now!!
Cheers

Awesome stuff! have to catch up on Saturday and have a more thorough squiz at the car lol.

I suppose with the 9" you can be a bit rough on it... what will you be aiming for down the 1/4?

Ooooh maaate!!

Stedz, that's a top car you have there.

Very tastefully done. Dont think I have ever seen a hatch in dark blue like that.
Nice contrast with the interior too.

Reading your running gear kinda makes me think about an 8 in mine.....

- or another hatch, with an 8!!!

Top job. Any more pics?

Cheers, Leakey

Was it painted that colour when you bought it? Looks very similar to a hatch owned by a member of the late TSMCV some years ago.... Regardless, a very nice hatch...

Yea it could be litre8, thou i was told it was painted about a year ago i didn't have it painted anyway! Only the bay!
Heath i hope for a high 15! At the end of the day its a street car not a drag car! n ill settle with a 15!
Thanks again
Cheers

Awesome news with the new stally dude! 15's should be a breeze for this thing - I reckon you could crack well into the 14's with ease. Don't really know much about your engine though, but sure sounds like it'll pack some punch! Maybe even with slightly shorter diff gears you could see 13's! Whatever happens, will be great to see it at Heathcote!

What did you do with your electric fuel pump and what size lines are you running now?

Nice job mate! Somewhat envious of the motor! I dont think you'll have probs getting into the 14's or high 13's... My UC has a 6cyl with 3.08:1 diff gears and i have broken 14's, so your meaty 308 should do it on the daily!

Let us know how you go anyway!

Keith
