I got this steering arm with some other bits and for the life of me I cannot identify what model Holden (Torana?) it is used on.

The part number was not found in the LH or LX parts manuals I have.

Can anyone help out with the identification and/or usage of this part. the nuber looks like 5053

Hi,
If it is a Holden part,
at a guess from HK T G Series,
as it looks like has the tie rod mounted to the rear of the axle,
Would suggest a non rack and pinion model. maybe?
Cheers
Chris

Tend to somewhat agree with you Chris. the funny thing is that the stub axles I took them off from are used on Torana. I thought that the Torana LH/X stubs were unique from all other Holdens (the KPI factor). Can anyone confirm this.

LH/X stubs are the same as LC/J AFAIK, HQ have a different inclination (HQ 9deg, LH 7 deg, I think), and are the same as HR ect, but have a 1 inch drop

lc/lj stubs do seem to be different to lh/lx. I pulled a dodgey to get through rego with a set of lx disc stubs. I might have got something wrong but I couldn't get the steering to work in a way I'd be happy with in the long term.

Can anyone list the part numbers for LC/J stubs, both disc and drum brake.
The LH/X part numbers are
LH) 9934548 RH) 9934547
LH) 9942927 RH) 9942926

they may be different stubs, but I am pretty sure that they share the same KPI and ride height

I don't have a set here to check but those steering arms at the top look like LC/LJ to me.

As far as I know the LC and LX stubs are interchangable (assuming disc or drum). But again I don't have any LC stuff here now to compare.

The Toranas have the 9 degree KPI and the big holdens have the 7 degrees.
