just wondering what options are available when replacing or strengthening the aussie 4 speed, i would still like to keep the manual though

also if known how much money it costs

best bet would be a supra box, i did my conversion for bout $900, if you ring dellow they do the whole kit for $960 +gst +shipping then ya need a box on top of that. that was for 308.
ring dellow or crs.

you can go also go toploader, look arround ,locally or on ebay, they come up all the time. more for the 6's.

If its for a 6, then I'd say just go for a Celica 5 speed. They're not quite as strong as the Supra box but still fairly nice gearbox. About 10 times better than the 4-Aussie speed!! You can pickup complete kits including gearbox for around $500. A straight forward conversion too.

for a 308

supra box is any cutting required or do they slot in

how much power can they handle- guesstimation

no cutting for supra box, it goes in nicely.

depending on what type of box you get, depends on how much power they can take.

on my home computer i have a link about all the toyota boxes and what they can handleand what they came out of , somone may put it for you, its an interesting read.
