My project draws close to an end after 15 months and now I have to put all the brakes back in the car. All that needs to be done is booster which is reco'd, the m/c which is new, the proportioner valve and the lines that run to the front discs. I pulled all these parts off and I'm pretty sure I could put it all back together, but seeing as it's brakes, fairly important component of a vehical, I'm thinking I probably should get a pro to come and do it.... just to be safe (probably good idea, right?).

Does anyone know a reputable brake specialist in Brisbane that could help me with installing the brakes? Preferably call out, otherwise I'll need to tow it.

Any ideas of the cost and what time it will take? I'm guessing it should take no longer 2 hours and hopefully under $200, sound reasonable or... dreaming?

Lastly, I'll need a new proportioning valve, anyone know where to buy one or should I just get mine reco'd?

Thanks for your help
Eddie

Eddie
Get your valve reco'd you can't buy them new anymore
Who did your booster ? BHSS ?
They should be able to do the valve too...... its just half a dozen O-Rings

As for someone to fit it up. Double your figure and ring around
Try Trevor at Brake Distibutors Australia
Not sure if he does mobile but worth an ask
Tell him Neil from WA said to call.

I know he shares a shop with a guy that makes Cobras...... so they must have the facility to make pipes and fit brakes (I assume)

Thanks Neil, I'll give them a ring. Their website says they're located in Mudgeeraba, which is the Gold Coast, 100km south of Brisbane so it might be a bit out of reach. Nevertheless I'll give them a go and ring around a bit. At least I'm off to a head start. Cheers
