I've finally found an original manual shifter boot. It's still fixed to a console.
The console in my car had an auto under it, so has never beed touched, so the lugs are all still there.
I want to remove the boot from one (brown) and fit it to my console (blue)

What I want to know is how do I remove the boot from the brown console without destroying it all?
The fasteners (circular washer type) wont budge as they're a one way fit, so if anyone's got any good suggestions, I'm all ears.

Thanks.

If the washers are a one way fit, it will be easier to destroy them to get them off rather than snapping the plastic(?) lugs that they are attached to.
You should be able to do the job with a good pair of side cutters and long nose pliers.

I have use a fork and pliers to great effect before for removing these type of clips, need to be very gentle otherwise yes it will fracture the pins. Take you time and have patience.

Cheers
