Hey All.
I know they is a few people on the forums that have fitted big wheels to LH/LX
I have an LX and have recently converted the front brakes to HQ with commodore studs.

I have seen a few photos and was just wondering what offset/wheel people are using and if the tyres rub when turning, I put a set of VT GTS 18x8 on the front of mine, VT offset and they hit the Front lower edge of guard when turning, are there any other ways around this. (Car has no flares and not an option)

Thanks Ray.

4 inch back spacing seems to work for me.

If you're using HQ discs, you may get a 4.75" backspace to clear, but don't fit a wide tyre to it or it will probably rub on the sway bar.

Thanks Guys,

Is using a spacer the only way. i seen a few photos on here and just want to know if this is the way they have done it too, or if there is any others.

by using the spacer will this allow a rim with a commodore offset to fit?

Thanks Ray.

Unless factory fitted, spacers are illegal. Personally I would simply use rims that fit the setup you have, or change the entire setup.

A spacer will not stop the front rim rubbing on the front edge of the guard when turning.
