I am changing to HQ Pattern as I have 4 15 by 10 hotwires to go on!!
Just wondering what options I have and what sort of dollars i'm looking at.
I have a 9 inch with ford drums, welded and drilled to torana pattern.
I don't want to weld and drill these to HQ Pattern as I will have 3 seperate patterns drilled into the drum.
would I be best getting HQ dums that suit a 9 inch?
If so where would I go to get these?
As another option, what sort of dollars are we taking to change over to disc rear at the same time?
For the front, what will I need?
I will post up a few photos of my front disc setup, as I am unsure what type of brakes they are.
Thanks,
Timbo

Rears: Get new axles drilled to HQ pattern and use HQ rear drums, backing plates etc: Or use whatever rear disc setup you want.
Fronts:
Cheapest is to buy HQ discs, stubs, PBR cast iron calipers and Harrop arms. Allow around $650.

Thats HQ disc already
So front is an easy one
Just put some new discs on it
I don't like the way they have machined that HZ caliper down though
Unless its actually a 270mm commodore disc..... which it might be looking at the radial depth of the pad

Why dont you just put the studs back in the HQ holes
But as Datto said that caliper looks awful thin where its been machined at the top do they need to be machined that much
