Willo/Doc, why do they make you use that crap track on the side of the hill, while there is a custom built oval near the go-kart track? Noise credits?
Shame, the Hill Climb track also suffers. We don't get the really good cars or open wheelers here anymore, too noisy!!!! WTF???

Apparently it comes down to 1 local (but I'm sure there are others) constant noise complaints. We have the noise meter every few meetings, can't run night events, no nights means limited spectators and no money. Goulburn, who are able to run nights, is sailing along.
There have been all sorts of proposals & talk for a motorsport park at fairbairn, but they won't build a dragway or let us run a decent speedway. I guess the gov is trying to kill off local motorsport.
p.s I think it's the johnstone bros, that have volunteered there services and have vastly improved the quality of our track, thanks boys.

OK, last time I saw it was during the Master's Games. Few years back now I suppose.
