Hi,

I have a celica 5 sp steel case and Banjo course spline diff.

I need to replace universal joints.

Is the Universal joint at the front (yolk end) Toyota or Holden?

Regards
Dave

Best to take your samples shopping with you.

get a yoke that matches the holden uni ie: same cup diameter and distance between holes.
reason for this is cause you can't buy unis to fit two (brain freeze)
end of tailshaft must be identical to matching end on yoke.

this will either help you or confuse the sh#t out of you

It depends on the yoke you have for your gearbox. As suggested above take the yoke with you and they will tell you what uni it runs, from there you can either hunt around for a yoke which has a holden uni or replace the front of teh tailshaft with the right hoop setup for the toyota uni.

The reason I state this as the early celicas ran a toyota uni whereas the later ones did convert to the holden size uni. From memory most of the coroanas ran the holden size. But check out what you have first. :D

Cheers

That would be thanks to Mr Button no doubt. Some locally built Crowns had Holden diffs.
