To my knowledge, a bracket meet is where ( for example ) 16 cars compete two at a time. The loser of each race drops out and the winner progresses to the next round.

chopper is half way there the first half of the day its practice then you work out your (dial in) just say mine will be 11.99 and the car next to me is 10.49 i will have a head start of .50 then i have to cross the finish before the guy next to me and not go faster than 11.99 if i do im out and if i jump the start im also out
it is worked out to be even at the end i hope this explains it

cheers caine

Yep, that's the plan guys... exactly the same as last year..... most of the day will be heads-up grudge racing / practise.... we'll then have a lunch break... and after lunch there's usually another 15 minutes or so or racing, before we run the Dial Your Own (DYO) bracket.

Every driver will have to nominate their 'Dial-In' time... and it will be eliminations until we have a winner. Would I be correct in saying there will be several people who want more info on this, who have never done it before??? If so, rather than go into it all here, I think we could start a separate info thread, with all the details there, so it's quick and easy to find.

I have also invited a couple of mates along now... should have another 2 - 3 racers with some very, very nice VK V8 Commodores for us to race. Will confirm if they are definitely coming a bit closer to the date...

New brakes and suspension in the next fortnight... then hopefully a tickle of the carbie and some tuning and I'll be right to go.
Looking forward to a great day.
Hope the weather's on our side! :spoton:

As I should be picking up another Torry in a couple of weeks, it looks like I'll be racing instead of watching!

As long as I beat Steve in his LJ, I'll be happy. That is of course assuming I actually get this vehicle AND in time.

I'm out fellas. My out-laws bought tickets for all of us for the circus that night and I can't get out of going. I don't want to have to rush home and into the city and all that, and then theres if I break something... so I've decided to give em this round - I'm going to win the war tho :finger:

Always next year...

Cheers,
