Can someone please id these numbers for a mate of mine.

MODEL: Lc 82911
BODY : 561-A
TRIM : 1193-40X
PAINT : 567-11425

Vin : 82911CJ209794
Chassis # LC 06552A

motor is a 202 with the prefix VL (not original obviously) is it a red/blue or black??

He believes it to be a GTR. He wants to know if it is an XU1 and what colour paint and trim it should have?
It will be for sale sometime in the future and I will post his details then.

GTR LC,
XU1 chassis numbers start in the 14000s.
Build date 9/2/70
Daytona Bronze.
Black Vinyl trim.

it is a commodore motor but you would need to look at the cast date on teh block.

What head is sitting on it at present? 9 port or 12?

Its a 12 port head. has tripple 45 mm webber carbs ,rollers. the motor sounds pretty tough but not sure exactly what has been done to it.

Pretty sure VL engine prefix was used in the VK Commy series - just to confuse us.

VL was used in all commy 202's except for maybe some of the VK's
