I was quoted $150 to re drill 9" axles to Torana pattern. I hope that included the studs.

if your 9 inch is 28 spline and standard torana length and you want to go to commodore pattern you can use 2 of the short VN commodore axles

AndyCullen, Was that $150 each?

Makka, do VN commodore axles fit a 28spline 9inch? What do you mean by Short VN commodore axles?

Edit, its ok, worked it out, the diff is offsetted, which would make one axle shorter.... i had a feeling my 9inch was offset as well *fishes through the photos of the axles*

edit2

Here is a pic of my axles, one is definatly shorter..

Fitting two axles the same length to a 9" will push the pinion yoke off centre by about 50mm, not a real problem but can get tight in the tunnel.

$150 was for a pair of axles redrilled.
