Hi All,
Just wondering if anyone could post some pics of the engine bay area of the 72 LJ XU-1 as original as the day they left the factory.I am in the process of restoring my car and would like to get as close as possible.

Thanks in advance for any help

George.

This is what my engine bay looked like before it was pulled down.
There are obvious things not correct like the air cleaners, brake master cylinder, extractors, fuel line, chrome bonnet hinges & bonnet lock, horn, stickers, is there anything else you guys can pick on for me.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
George.

Yep - It's probably best to post a pic then people can direct you better. In the meantime here is an old black and white photo that I have found useful.

Sorry,
My car is Baroda Silver Mk2 Met.
Build date is 29/8/1972
And the trim is black.
Has the original block, but not the cylinder head, all the plates are matching but just missing a few minor parts some of which I have already collected, others I am still to get with the cylinder being the major one.

Regards,
George.

5 Rory including mine-but mines off a LH and the seller that has 3 of them wouldnt be correct for a LC-LJ as they are the wider bodied ones
